Should children be burdened with homework summer vacation

 

Learning is the fundamental tasked of any children during academic period, whether it is in or out- side the school. Therefore, homework one of the aspect of learning process by the children during summer vacation and it provide an opportunity to the student or parents to re-evaluate and improve the children’s grey area and re-work on their weakness and experimental learning. Further, home work during summer vacation and enriched children’s critical thinking, self reliance and   time management along with other extra curriculum activities . 

In addition, home work during summer vacation provide an environment of continuity to their  studies in-spite of they are absent in school,  as well as it provide a platform for socialization, connect with nature, aligned with their hobby.

Thus, Children are not burdened with home work during summer vacation, however, home work  should be aligned with NEP 2020 recommendations and based on the age and standard of the children.
