“How can we tackle human trafficking?”

 

Human trafficking is one of the oldest and most profitable business in the world to use a domestic slave as well as sex worker in the international market. Generally trafficker targeted the poor and needy families with lucrative offers. Therefore, we have need a multi- pronged approach for it, beginning with - from the administrative level , to regular checking, searching, monitoring and surveillance and raid conducted if necessary. Secondly, Government must re-orient or strengthen the spy agencies, co-ordination with all enforcement departments for necessary follow up and action. Thirdly- Deployment of CCTV  camera at strategic point, patrolling and checking inter-state border route is necessary. Fourthly- Government must utilized the services of inter-state ,national ,  international organization ,state’s PRI , VDP in village level for strict monitoring cum coordination of  human trafficking  related cases . Fifthly,- it will be  more fruit full to conduct  awareness campaign on human trafficking  and possible efforts has made by trafficker for human trafficking , so that poor people may not felt prey to the trafficker  .  Sixthly- Apart from this, Civil society group, NGO should focus on more and intensive campaign, awareness among the masses to fight against the poverty  menace .  Last but not the least- Rescue, rehabilitation, counseling, orientation and employment  is another important weapon to tackled the human trafficking .

Finally, Role of civil society  is important, they must be a act as first responder of any such act in the society then we will collectively tackle the human trafficking .
